Yay! Finished my first mobile/first swap for Elsie Marley's Mobile Swap. Hope my partner at the other end likes it. Ooooh....crossing my fingers xxx. This was my brief - purple, aqua, brown, leaf green (not necessarily together) and NOT for a baby's room.
It's my homage to all the beautiful native gum trees lost in the recent bush fires in Victoria, Australia. I had intended to use a stick from a gum in my yard as part of the mobile but figured it could potentially cause a few problems getting through customs..... bummer!
